About Austin

His Story

Austin Charles has lived more lives than most people ever will — and every one of them shows up on screen. Born in Anaheim, California and raised in Tucson, Arizona, he joined the United States Marine Corps in 2002 and served for fifteen years, including three combat deployments to Iraq. During that time, he trained in mixed martial arts and earned a black belt in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, eventually becoming a black belt instructor. The discipline, presence, and physical command he built over those years are not something he learned for a role. They're who he is.

Driven by Purpose

After the Corps, Austin refused to slow down. He went to work as an electrical engineer at Caterpillar while chasing a parallel dream in competitive bodybuilding. Then, in 2017, he was diagnosed with cancer — and beat it in 2018. That refusal to quit defines everything he does. It's the same drive he now pours into his craft: showing up prepared, pushing past limits, and treating every opportunity as if it matters.

On Screen

Austin brings the rare combination directors look for — genuine authenticity in action, military, and combat roles, paired with the coachability of someone who has spent his whole life mastering hard things. He has appeared as a mercenary in the feature film Land Of Wolves, an Army specialist in Clown Motel 3: Ways to Hell, and in roles ranging from a mafia underboss to a Viking bodyguard. He trains under acting coaches Jay Montalvo and David Thompson.
